Who we are?
Indo-Myanmar Border Mission (IMBM) is a charitable mission organization committed in reaching the unreached rural and tribal communities of the border of India and Myanmar registered under the Manipur Societies Registration Act, 1989 (Manipur Act 1 of 1990) No.41/UD/SR/2009. We have 12a and 80g Income Tax Exemption Certificate. As our ministry is engaging with the social and economical underprivileged groups, we constantly work for the transformation and empowerment of individuals and communities. We work with the border’s tribes, poor, illiterates, sick, orphans, widows etc. by promoting God’s love in action.
Necessity of rescuing the destitute children:
No doubt! 85% of children in the border villages of India and Myanmar are completely neglected from education especially in the hilly area. The children are dying every day due to hunger, malnutrition and diseases. The fund of the centre and state government could not reach to this areas due to many factors. The best option left for them at this moment is to let somebody pick up and provide education. Therefore, we, IMBM take initiative to rescue those destitute children to provide the best education we have in our town in preparation for their future. We have already rescued more than 60 children and some of them have graduated and serving in their villages in various fields since 2009. They become an asset for the villages and nation at large. You can join with us in saving this forgotten world.
